I went to my first motorsport event since moving to Germany and my first ever hillclimb.
After parking our car and hiking uphill for about an hour due to unclear directions on their website, and finding out there was an entrance fee of 10 euro, which also wasn’t mentioned on their website.. We finally got there.
There was some fun stuff on the parking lot (which would’ve saved us an hour of hiking. Yes I’m still bitter about this.)
The ‘Paddock’
Oops. A spin bottomed him out right after the first straight.
Tis a pretty place this area.
This had a (Assuming from the sound American) V8 in it
Oh the lovely antilag sounds!
The bodyroll on this is insane

Awesome! It’s seems like the Polo and Golf are very suitable platforms for this kind of hillclimbing by the look of things.

Light weight and short wheelbase with some national pride points added on top. I can see why they are popular.

I love me some Opel Manta. It’s like they got a great mixture of Vega/Monza and 2nd gen Cavalier. That sounds like a horrible insult, but i really like MOST of both those designs.
Naturally I’d stuff in a high revving SBC because ‘Murica.
